Saint Dominic, Saint Louis, Saint Martial and Saint Rémi of Bacalan are the result of the break-up of the former parish of Saint Rémi of Bordeaux. The reconstruction of the church may date back to 1867. The modest building has a basilica plan. Its very sober façade displays a massive pediment supported only by two Doric pilasters. A lone monumental door opens, topped off by a triangular pediment, the summit cross of which is above the large pediment. The building is flanked by two pavilions where semi-domed empty niches open outwards. The low-rise bell tower is set back on the south side.
